Becoming and staying green is a commitment which we pledge to all of our customers.  You can be assured that our execution-to-workflow-to-delivery of our services will be environmentally viable.  We believe this is key, not only to maintaining market place competiveness, but to promote future success.

 

Here is a sample of the various clean technologies and what we do to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

Digital Cameras in lieu of Film Cameras
Digital photo proof to All customers is delivered electronically
Power sources for our digital cameras and strobes are powered through rechargeable cells
Office hardware is set to sleep mode when not in use.
Office lighting has been converted from conventional to high efficiency lighting
Company vehicles are equipped to accept and run on E85 fuel

 

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
Computer monitors have been converted to Energy Star LCDs
Our eCycling for electronics is managed locally to remove any toxins and heavy metals
Electronics that are not in use are unplugged
Shipping materials are re-purposed for new shipping or submitted to a recycling center

 

Our utility usage is monitored closely to reduce waste, both natural and financial resources.  The climate we live and operate in, we all have be conscience of the natural resources that are consumed, especially water.  And, it is not uncommon for us to receive monthly credits for conserving water (low usage). 

 

Through these efforts and many others, we have been awarded two green certifications. By achieving these green certifications, we have become the first green certified photography business in New Mexico, and the first green certified wedding photographer in New Mexico. We achieved these certifications through detailed third party processes. This is rewarding and an exciting time in our history.  We are thankful to our clients, who challenged us to have and maintain a higher environmental awareness and provide the first green photography of its kind here in the Land of Enchantment, to our peers, family and customers, who supported us through our green development and certification- thank you.
